About Gilbert Wong Photography:

[PAST] I studied in Miri Sarawak before and I been shooting with a Sony point and shoot camera I bought myself. My very first love in digital photography. Did a lot of self portraits (so vain, I know), things I do with my uni-mates, and outdoor scenery. Basically I shoot anything bout my life. I created few hundred folders of pics with my trusty compact camera till it died when I last brought it for my jungle trekking. So many memories with my compact cam. Even created short clip with my friends through it. Come to think of it, I been carrying it everywhere I go during my Uni time. I miss you, sony W1.
[PRESENT] I specialized in actual wedding day shoot, pre wedding and slide show designs.

I was having nausea and vomiting sensation before the night wedding shoot with Annie & Erdiny in Pan Pac Sutera Harbour Kota Kinabalu. Praise the Lord for taking away all those feeling once I stepped into our new GCC Auditorium! It was magnificent to see adults and kids can join in the fun!

We have clowns, pirates, dances and dances and dances & puppets! Enjoy the rest of the pictures at www.gcc.org.my Glory Christian Center official website.

    Mandy & Kenny = WOW!

    Thursday, December 17th, 2009

I had the honor second shooting with Anna Rina on Mandy & Kenny wedding day. I was covering on the groom side and you can see the sisters aka “zi muis” had their sweet time torturing the brothers aka “heng dais” for an hour plus. :) Scary huh, they have to do yoga moves according to a video shown on the iMac. With Mascara, bras, undies and lipsticks on the guys while doing the sexy yoga moves.

During the night, we had the most awesome lighting effects you ever see and its not easy to shoot those ever changing lights ;)

Here are some of the shots during the day time at the groom place.

MLTR – They finally learnt how to rock!

    Monday, December 14th, 2009

They did it again! After 12 years since they visited Kota Kinabalu Sabah, they still got the touch. It was an awesome concert held in UMS Kota Kinabalu. It wasn’t too swarm with photographers and I’m glad to be able to roam around and captured nice moments too good not to share it with you all. Lighting is on our side with many nice flares and color smoke. You got to love it. I tested my new Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR II AFS on the field. It didn’t disappoint me with its excellent tech behind the glass.

In a way, this concert I treat my dear for her excellent university exam results. She totally earn it and deserve to be pampered. =) Enjoy the concert pictures.
